Florida Southern provides “Moc” (actually mock) interviews and professional critiques to help you become more comfortable in interview situations.
Career connections
Education is essential, but career connections are also crucial. According to the National Association of College and Employers, three out of five college students get their first jobs through networking. Our Career Spotlight Series connects you with FSC alumni from various industries and fields.
Professional development
You can get a jump-start on career planning when you participate in conferences, seminars, and workshops in your field of interest. And thanks to generous corporate donations, we offer career development grants that can help cover related expenses!

We’ll help you strengthen networks with family, professors, Career Center staff, friends, and alumni. More than that, we’ll teach you how to get the most from your networking meetings by doing your homework, asking the right questions, and following up.

Four-Year Plan
We take a comprehensive approach to career planning that starts your first semester on campus and spans all four years of your time at Florida Southern.
Freshman Year
Right now your goal is to learn about yourself and explore career options. You can:

Ready to take the next step? First, read our Preparing for an Internship handout. Internships, part-time jobs, and service efforts help you gain real-world experience and explore career options We receive listings (often new ones each day!) for internships and volunteer work plus seasonal, part-time, and full-time jobs. Here’s how to access them:
