We guarantee students an internship during their educational experience at Florida Southern.  Our Career Center and our faculty and administrators support the idea that internships create amazing job connections and provide valuable experience and preparation for your career.  This experience may be academic, a volunteer assignment, or a paid position.  Our reputation for academic excellence enables us to place interns with major employers, including Disney, Fox News, ESPN, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Allen & Company Investments, Augusta National Golf Club, the Detroit Tigers baseball club, Publix Super Markets, and NASA, to name a few.

Our graduates also excel in top medical schools, law schools, MBA programs, conservatories, and other notable graduate programs.

On average, 94% of recent graduates report landing great jobs or enrolling in prestigious graduate and professional schools.  Of special note, for students who take the MCAT and apply to medical school, we have a 100% acceptance rate.

We also offer career fairs through our Career Center.  Recently, representatives from the following companies were on campus to recruit FSC students:  Busch Entertainment Corp., Publix, State Farm, Bright House Networks, Syngenta, Target, Dillard’s, Central Florida Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Hertz, Girl Scouts, Polk Co. Public Schools, Enterprise, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Northwest Mutual Financial Network, Liberty Mutual, GEICO and many more.
