Cara Mackie began teaching at FSC in the fall of 2008. She got her BA from Florida State and her MA and Ph.D. from the University of South Florida, all in general communication. She taught at USF for seven years, and now teaches classes at FSC in speech and interpersonal communication. When Mackie is not in the classroom, she likes to unwind at the beach.
