Dr. Alex Ortiz is an Assistant Professor of Advertising. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from the University of Florida and earned his Ph. D from the University of South Florida.

Dr. Ortiz has been with FSC since 2009 and is the advisor of the Florida Southern Advertising Federation. He thoroughly enjoys working on advertisements and working with students by passing on that passion. In his down time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his two children.
