Where are you from?
Winter Haven, Florida
What do you enjoy most about working at Florida Southern?
After visiting this campus
for many years, I feel privileged to represent the school and welcome future Florida Southern students who
make this a unique place to study, work, and grow.
Do you have a favorite spot on campus?
I never get tired of walking by the Water Dome.
I also enjoy the Willis Garden of Meditation because it reminds me of how globally connected Florida Southern
College has been since its foundation.
What's the best tradition or campus event at Florida Southern?
Scholars Weekend—what a
great opportunity to connect with new and current students! I love that incoming students stay overnight on
campus, as this is the best way to truly appreciate all the FSC community has to offer.
Describe your idea of a perfect Saturday in Lakeland.
A perfect Saturday would
absolutely include a run around Lake Hollingsworth or Lake Mirror. Next, I would swing downtown to buy fresh
produce at the Farmers Curb Market, followed by coffee at Black and Brew. Lakeside Village would be my
one-stop destination for shopping, dinner, and a movie, or I’d enjoy a festival in Munn Park or a performance
at the historic Polk Theater.

Any favorite restaurants or hangouts in Lakeland?
That's a tough one! I always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Grill Smith in Lakeside Village. Café Zuppina serves delicious Turkish food and comes in a close second!
What about hobbies or outside interests?
Since I live in Winter Haven, I like coming to
Lakeland on the weekends or heading to Orlando or Tampa for shopping and entertainment. I enjoy running,
reading, cooking, the movies, and all things French.
