Need-based Aid

Not only do our students benefit from well-established state federal programs that provide aid to financially-deserving students, Florida Southern also provides generous need-based grants to all students who qualify.

Even if you do not qualify for a federal or state grant, you may still be eligible for a need-based assistance from the College.

Federal & State Aid Programs

Florida Southern participates in all of the major federal and many state-based programs based upon financial need.

Federal Pell Grant In 2013-2014 the federal government awarded up to $5,550 to undergraduate, degree-seeking students who had not already obtained a bachelor’s degree.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Up to $500 Granted to undergraduate, degree-seeking students with exceptional financial need.

Let our Financial Aid staff show you how a Florida Southern education is within your reach!

Need-Based Awards

In addition to established state and federal programs for students with financial need, Florida Southern also provides need-based grants to students who qualify. We offer options for academically outstanding first-year applicants who demonstrate significant financial need.
