Florida Citrus Archives

you help?
Citrus Materials: If you have materials that you would like to donate, please check here for information on making a materials donation. Financially: The Florida Citrus Archives is not yet fully endowed. We are maintained through the ongoing support of monetary gifts from individuals and businesses in the citrus industry. As these needs are slowly being met, we have begun the work of increasing the Endowment Fund for the future maintenance of the Florida Citrus Archives. Currently it is only about 20% of the amount needed to provide for adequate supplies, equipment replacement as needed, labor-intensive digitizing of the collections, and web availability of the collections. Your gift will aid in assuring the continued maintenance, growth and accessibility of the archives. We will provide an Honor Roll to hang in the new facilities. Many in the industry have contributed to our Building Fund to provide this new, much more spacious location and it's renovation, along with new equipment for more complete cataloging and digitizing of our collections. We are very grateful. But the building is, after all, antique, and not actually archivally correct for our collections in the long run. Our new President, Dr. Anne B. Kerr, has started in motion preparation for the addition of an archivally correct section to the Roux Library, specifically for the various archival collections on campus. We are most appreciative for her recognition of the importance of these materials, and look forward to the day the new addition is completed. To contribute to our endowment fund, please make your check payable to FSC Florida Citrus Archives Florida Southern College is a 501 (C) 3 organization. Your gifts are tax-deductible.
