Anne Kerr, president of Florida Southern College, announced on Oct. 26, 2006 a gift of $1 million from trustee and long-time supporter Dr. Sarah D. McKay to name the Sarah D. and L. Kirk McKay, Jr. Archives Center. This addition to Florida Southern's Roux Library will house archival materials of The Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.  (Click here for more information.)

the college's 2007 Honorary Chancellor at the ceremonial groundbreaking for the archive center. Dr. Billington is the Librarian of Congress.


The archive center will be constructed on the west side of the Roux Library.
