“Students learn best with a "hands on" approach to learning. Students should be taught in a way to allow the learner to demonstrate their knowledge in the context of sharing this knowledge with others.”
I am a veteran teacher with 42 years experience in the Polk County Schools and associated programs outside the school system. I taught for 10 years prior to becoming an assistant principal and principal at the high school level and then returned to the classroom to teach for 7 more years. My teaching content area was Chemistry and Physical Science. Other administrative experience includes Director of Secondary Education, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Services and Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services. I spent four years as an adjunct for Florida Southern College prior to becoming full time in the 2013-2014 school year.
I am very interested in computers and electronics. In addition, I enjoy digital music.
