Judy Senzamici, M.A.
Instructor of Education
“My philosophy of education includes the following words: engaged; student-centered; opportunities for all learners; guide by the side; and learning community. One of my goals is to have a classroom that is designed like a learning community. Working at the college level with students striving to become future teachers we all can learn from each others experiences we have had in the classroom setting. Class time involves the students being fully engaged in their learning.”
Mrs. Senzamici is beginning her 10th year here at Florida Southern and she has taught a variety of courses. As the coordinator for senior internships, she is responsible for placing education majors in Polk County public schools for their final internship. Mrs. Senzamici is a Senior Internship Supervisor, as well as the faculty sponsor for Kappa Delta Pi, an Honor Society for Education Majors. “Kappa Delta Pi is a great place for education students to connect” states Senzamici, "we have had the opportunity to be involved in a Walk for Dyslexia, feeding the homeless, and reading to children at the local library."
