About Roux Library

Roux Library, located at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, is committed to providing the resources necessary to sustain a superior academic experience and to promote an atmosphere of free inquiry in which the human heritage may be investigated and the truth served. An important purpose of Roux Library is to promote scholarship, research and leisure reading among all our users, especially our students.

One of our special collections includes material on architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who designed a number of structures on the FSC campus.

The library has carrel and computer terminal seating for 216 users. The library has an additional 39 seats in group study areas, 61 in meeting rooms, 40 in TūTū's Cyber Café, and 98 casual seats, bringing the total to 454.
