Melvin Art Gallery presents the Annual Florida Southern All-Student Art Show

LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2005) — Current work from Florida Southern College’s freshman, sophomore, and junior art majors will be on exhibit and for sale in the Melvin Art Gallery on campus, Dec. 2-9. Awards will be presented at the opening reception Thursday, Dec. 1 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

“This exhibit shows why the Florida Southern College Department of Art and Art History has gained the reputation of being one of the strongest in the Southeast,” said Dr. James Rogers, chair of the department and director of the Melvin Art Gallery. 

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of most performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series.  For more information please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4223.
