Cantus performs at FSC’s Festival of Fine Arts

LAKELAND, Fla. (Dec. 22, 2005) — Florida Southern College presents American vocal ensemble Cantus, Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium, as part of its Festival of Fine Arts Series.

Gaining recognition as one of America’s finest professional male vocal ensembles, Cantus’ repertoire spans all periods and genres. With vocal programs that stretch from Gregorian chant to Richard Strauss – from Smokey Robinson to “Shenandoah” – these twelve winsome young men have captured audiences throughout the land. “The Washington Post” notes, “Theirs is a sound that beams with enthusiasm and natural grace.”
