LAKELAND, Fla. (Jan. 5, 2006) — The 2006 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” will include the names of 21 students from Florida Southern College. Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory selected these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

“Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” has honored outstanding students in its directory since it was first published in 1934. Once selected, a student is a lifetime member.

The following Florida Southern College students were named this year:
Melissa Kristin Ballard, a senior education major, is the daughter of Walter Jr. and Patricia Ballard of Naples, Fla.

Christoph Jowill Barnett, a senior music major, is the son of Curtis and Christine Barnett of Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

Kerri Nicole Bosfield, a senior biology major, is the daughter of Nathaniel and Donna Bosfield of Nassau, Bahamas.

Joleen Szymanski Cacciatore, a senior communications major, is the daughter of Mark Cacciatore and Joyce Szymanski of Weston, Fla.

Melissa Nicole Cofta, a senior communications major, is the daughter of Gary Cofta of Winter Springs, Fla. and Gail Cofta of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Aaron Michael Deloach, a senior communications major, is the son of David and Sheryl Deloach of Fenton, Mo.

Megan Elizabeth Fincham, a senior psychology major, is the daughter of Gordon and Colleen Fincham of Alpharetta, Ga.

Matthew Thomas Hardwick, a senior business administration major, is the son of Nancy Hardwick of Pensacola, Fla and the late Jon Hardwick.

Kristina L. Haselier, a senior biology major, is the daughter of Robert Haselier and Mary Haselier of Lakeland, Fla.

Anton Yurievich Kivilev, a senior business administration major, is the son of Yuri Kivilev of Kuma, Russia and Irina Kivilev of Zarechny, Russia.

Kelley E. Kolsch, a senior business administration major, is the daughter of Dennis and Angela Kolsch of Cape Canaveral, Fla.

Amy Lynne Kukuk, a senior art major, is the daughter of Edward and Karen Kukuk of Valrico, Fla.

Thomas James McConville, a senior economics major, is the son of Scott and Robyn McConville of Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Audra Lorena Rose, a senior art history major, is the daughter of James and Patricia Rose of Lakeland, Fla.

Lindsay Anne Ruhr, a senior theatre arts performance major, is the daughter of Edward and Sharon Spencer of Sugar Hill, Ga.

Carla W. Schnitzlein, a senior biology major, is the daughter of Charles Jr. and Beverley Schnitzlein of Fall River, Mass.

Christine M. Segura, a senior accounting major, is the daughter of Ramon Segura of New York, N.Y. and Josefinal Campbell of Lakeland, Fla.

Erin Lyn Smith, a senior biology major, is the daughter of Kenneth Smith and Saralyn Smith of Lakeland, Fla.

Christen Michelle Swain, a senior criminology major, is the daughter of Timothy and Bonnie Swain of Louisville, Tenn.

Rebecca Lauren Wilson, a senior education major, is the daughter of James and Roxanne Wilson of Lakeland, Fla.

Kathy Lynn Wunderlich, a senior sacred music major, is the daughter of Paul and Sara Wunderlich of Davie, Fla.
