Professor William Collins to speak at Florida Southern College

AKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 7, 2005) — Florida Southern College’s Department of Religion and Philosophy welcomes Dr. William Collins to give the Warren W. Willis Lecture in Religion on Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. in the William M. Hollis Room on campus. Collins will conduct a seminar on the lecture’s topic, ending at 3 p.m. Registration is free and begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch is $5. For more information, please call (863) 680-4180.

Collins is a professor of political science at Samford University. His lecture will discuss “Convergence Evolution and St. Thomas’s View of Infinity and Design: Reflections on the Transcendence-Immanence Relation.” The afternoon seminar will provide opportunities for discussion and questions from the audience.
