Florida Southern hosts screening of film on Frank Lloyd Wright

LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2006) — A screening of the film “Sacred Spaces: The Houses of Worship Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright” will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 10 in the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel on campus. An informal reception with the film’s director and producer Michael Miner will follow the screening. To reserve seating, please contact Diana Young Stewart at (863) 680-6201.

The film provides an overview of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work for spiritual organizations and features two Florida Southern College buildings, the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel and the Danforth Chapel. Other featured buildings include Unity Temple, Pettit Chapel, Beth Sholom Synagogue, and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
