Senior graphic art exhibition on display at Melvin Art Gallery

LAKELAND, Fla. (March 31, 2006) — Florida Southern College’s Department of Art and Art History presents its Senior Thesis Exhibition for graphic art majors April 17 through April 28 in the Melvin Art Gallery on campus.  The exhibit opens with a reception Monday, April 17 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tim Cox, director of creative services for Publix Super Markets, and Allen Reed, creative director of Madden Corporate Services, Inc., a brand marketing firm, will jury the annual show that features the print and electronic media of graduating graphic art majors. Senior awards will be presented at the opening night reception.

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of most performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series.  For more information please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4223.
