FSC holds annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony
LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 28, 2006) — Florida Southern invites the public to join the campus community in its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 3 at 7:15 p.m. The event takes place at the corner of Lake Hollingsworth Drive and Johnson Avenue on the Florida Southern campus.
The group will sing Christmas carols, and college president Dr. Anne B. Kerr will read the Christmas story from the Bible. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate and have their pictures taken with Santa.
