The Acting Company to perform “Jane Eyre” at Florida Southern College

LAKELAND, Fla. (March 27, 2007) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome The Acting Company in “Jane Eyre” on April 10. The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.

The adaptation for the London stage of the exciting and romantic Charlotte Bronté novel is performed by the prestigious young professional American ensemble founded by the late great John Houseman. This season marks the 34th year of the Company’s classical productions. The Acting Company has won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, Citibank’s Excellence in Education Award, and two Audelco and Obie Awards. The Company has performed 127 productions for over 3 million people in 48 states and nine foreign countries.
