Academic department awards given at Florida Southern College

LAKELAND, Fla. (May 23, 2007) — The Florida Southern College Academic Department Awards were announced at the college’s Honors Convocation April 18. The following students received department awards and/or scholarships: 

Allen & Company Scholarship – Braxton Williams, a junior business administration major and son of Joe and Gwendolyn Williams of Cocoa Beach, Fla.

Apopka Garden Club Olga & Elin Larson Scholarship – Mario Walker, a sophomore landscape horticulture major and son of Paula Walker of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Morlan Walker.
