Gideon String Trio performs in Festival II Program
LAKELAND, Fla. (March 15, 2005) - Florida Southern's Festival of Fine Arts presents the Gideon String Trio with Phillipe Magnan, oboist, performing in Festival II, a program of chamber concerts. The performance takes place March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Anne MacGregor Jenkins Recital Hall on the Florida Southern campus.
On its first American tour, this trio from the Moravian area of the Czech Republic has become a leading ensemble on the European tour. Quebec-born oboist Magnan joins the trio in a varied chamber repertoire.
