Senior Art Students Display Creative Works at Annual Graphic Design Show

LAKELAND, Fla. (April 3, 2009) — Florida Southern College's Department of Art and Art History presents its Senior Graphic Design Show in the Melvin Art Gallery beginning April 17 and running through May 2. The exhibit will include examples of both print and digital media. Tim Cox of Publix Super Markets, Inc., and Allen Reed of Madden, Inc., are this year's jurors. The Graphic Design Awards will be announced during the opening night reception on April 17.

Seniors exhibiting their works include Jared Cochran, Brett Toward, Liz Chinchilla, Jeff Ramos, Michael Shane Huntley, Ashley Mintern, and Alyssa Lattizori.

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of many performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series. For more information, please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4743.
