Florida Southern College Hosts Annual Exhibition of Lakeland Art Guild

LAKELAND, Fla. (April 24, 2009) — Florida Southern College will host the annual Spring Exhibition of the Lakeland Art Guild in the Melvin Art Gallery beginning May 8 and running through June 3. Founded in 1952, the Guild is Lakelands oldest community arts organization. Awards will be announced at the opening.

The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during intermissions of many performances of the FSC Fine Arts Series. For more information, please contact the gallery at (863) 680-4743.
