Florida Southern College, a remarkable ensemble of buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, is the subject of "Child of the Sun": Florida Southern College, an exhibition of stunning photographs by Robin Hill at the Charles Cowles Gallery in Chelsea from May 19-23.

Built between 1938 and 1959, this striking collection is the largest integrated collection of Wright structures in the world. In 2008, the buildings were placed on the 2008 World Monuments Watch, a list of 100 endangered sites, due to significant deterioration. The restoration of the dramatic Water Dome was completed in 2007 and several other projects are currently underway.

The Charles Cowles Gallery is located at 537 West 24th Street, New York City and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Other photographs from this series are also being exhibited in the upcoming exhibition Frank Lloyd Wright: From Within outward at New York's Guggenheim Museum from May 15th through August 23rd.
