LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 16, 2009) — Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome the internationally renowned folk dance ensemble Virsky Ukrainian National Dance Company on Nov. 29. The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus.

Named after its founder, Pavlo Virsky, an innovative dancer and choreographer, the ensemble is famous for its bright colors, the unity of content and form and the vivid embodiment of its stage concept. The ensemble has toured world-wide, performing in many countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
