LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 15, 2011) -- Florida Southern College's School of Education announces an Open House event for those interested in learning more about its Master of Education program.

The M.Ed. at FSC is designed to provide a high-quality, advanced degree for educators who are seeking both convenience and great value in a Master of Education program.

The informational event will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, in the Eleanor Searle Drawing Room on the FSC campus. Free childcare and refreshments will be provided to attendees, and there will be a drawing for a $50 gift card.

M.Ed. classes are offered in the evenings and on Saturdays to accommodate work schedules. Also, the M.Ed. program can be completed in four semesters and is competitively priced against other programs in the area.

Also to be presented at the March 1 Open House will be information about the Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Science in Nursing programs available at Florida Southern.
