NYSE CEO to Speak to Graduates at Spring Commencement

Duncan L. Niederauer, chief executive officer and a director of NYSE

LAKELAND, Fla. (Apr. 26, 2010) -- Florida Southern College announced today that Duncan L. Niederauer, chief executive officer and a director of NYSE Euronext, the New York Stock Exchange's parent company, will deliver the spring commencement address at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at The Lakeland Center.

Mr. Niederauer has served as the chief executive officer and a director for NYSE Euronext since December 2007. Mr. Niederauer was previously a partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (United States) where he held many positions, including managing director for Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, L.P. (formerly known as Spear, Leeds & Kellogg L.P.).

Mr. Niederauer's current memberships include the G100, The Economic Club of New York, the British-American Business Council International Advisory Committee, the Partnership for New York City, the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, and the Shanghai International Financial Advisory Committee. He also serves on the board of trustees for Colgate University.

Mr. Niederauer earned a BA degree from Colgate University in 1981 and an MBA from Emory University in 1985.
