U.S. Congressman Connie Mack to Speak at FSC
Congressman Connie Mack is scheduled to speak to Florida Southern College students and faculty on Thursday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held in the Eleanor Searle Drawing Room in Joseph-Reynolds Hall and is open to the public. Student Organizations to host Q and A about world trade, national debt LAKELAND, Fla. (June 3, 2011) – United States Congressman Connie Mack is scheduled to speak to Florida Southern College students and faculty on Thursday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held in the Eleanor Searle Drawing Room in Joseph-Reynolds Hall and is open to the public. Congressman Connie Mack (R-14) serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and as chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere. Under Congressman Mack’s leadership, the subcommittee focuses on developing and improving free trade agreements in South America and opening up new markets for U.S. companies. He is currently working to establish trade agreements with Panama and Colombia in an effort to strengthen the economy and promote political stability in the region. Congressman Mack also serves as a member on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
