Student Organizations to host public event and Q and A

LAKELAND, Fla. (November 15, 2011) — Former Florida State Representative Adam Hasner, candidate for U.S. Senate in 2012, is scheduled to speak to Florida Southern College students, staff, and faculty on Thursday, November 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Rogers Auditorium of the Carlisle Rogers Building at FSC, and the event is open to the public.

The one-hour event is being hosted by FSC’s College Democrats, College Republicans, and Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society.

Adam Hasner served in the Florida legislature from 2002 – 2010, and as the Majority Leader of the Republican Caucus from 2007-2010. He represented Palm Beach and Broward counties in the Florida House of Representatives. Adam Hasner and his family live in Boca Raton.
