Southern holds
annual Biblical Symposium
LAKELAND, Fla.
(Jan. 29, 2002) - FSC's religion department sponsors its annual
Bible Symposium Feb. 14 and 15 in the Hollis Room on campus. Thursday's
session begins at 10 a.m. and Friday's at 8:30 a.m.
This year's
theme, "The Quest for the Historical Jesus in the Twentieth
Century," will be presented by Dr. James Charlesworth, Princeton
Theological Seminary; Dr. Ernst Baasland, Bishop in the Norwegian
Lutheran Church; Dr. Carsten Claussen, Protestant Theological Faculty
of Munich, Germany; and Dr. Walter Weaver, Florida Southern College,
emeritus. The symposium is open to the public. For further information,
