The
Empire Brass performs
at Florida Southern College
LAKELAND, Fla.
(Jan. 28, 2002) - Florida Southern's Festival of Fine Arts welcomes
the nationally renowned quintet, Empire Brass, to Branscomb Auditorium
Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The quintet
presents over 100 concerts a year around the world, performing brass
music ranging from Bach and Handel to jazz and Broadway. The group
has performed on network television and commercial and public radio
networks nationwide, and is the first brass ensemble to win the
prestigious Naumberg Chamber Music Award.
Tickets are
$20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; cost for non-FSC
