symphony orchestra performs
LAKELAND, Fla.
(Feb. 14, 2002) - Florida Southern's symphony orchestra performs
Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium. Conductor Arthur Pranno
leads the youthful ensemble through a program of both old and new
musical selections.
Arthur Pranno
is director of string studies at FSC and directs the Chamber Series.
In addition, he is concertmaster and associate conductor of the
Imperial Symphony Orchestra and artistic director of the Brevard
Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has performed with the Phoenix Symphony,
Phoenix Chamber Orchestra, Lyric Opera Theater and numerous historical
instrument ensembles.
Admission is
$12. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC students
are admitted at half price. For ticket information, please contact
