Senior studio art
exhibition
on display at Melvin Art Gallery
LAKELAND, Fla. (April
7, 2003) - Florida Southern College's department of art and art
history presents its Senior Studio Art Show in the Melvin Art Gallery
beginning April 16 and running through April 25. An opening night
reception begins at 7 p.m.
The Florida Southern College art faculty will jury this show on
opening night and will choose the recipients of the John R. Reuter
Art Awards. John Reuter, a former English professor at the college,
has provided for $1,000 in annual awards for graduating studio art
students. The awards will be announced at 8 p.m.
The Melvin Art Gallery is open weekdays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. and
before and during intermissions of most FSC Festival of Fine Arts
performances. Admission is free.
