LAKELAND, Fla. (Jan. 9, 2004) - Florida
Southern's Melvin Art Gallery presents "Chicago Eleven - Art Institute
of Chicago - Group Show" beginning Jan. 16 and running through Feb.

top art schools will show their work from their final year.

appear in the publication New American Painting. Hannum and gallery
director Dr. James Rogers will discuss the exhibition during the
opening reception taking place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 16.
Also attending the opening, says Rogers, is artist Kim Metseff,
"who works in food - edible art - and we will be able to eat her
work at the opening."
The Melvin Gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and
during intermissions of most FSC Festival of Fine Arts performances.
Admission is free.
