Florida Southern MBA graduate
scores highest in Florida CPA exam

LAKELAND, Fla. (Sept. 24, 2003) - Jeanette Dugas, a former student at Florida Southern College, received the highest score in Florida on the May CPA examination. Dugas graduated from Florida Southern with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2000 and a master's in business administration in 2002. She received the Ernst & Young award as the outstanding accounting graduate in the MBA program.

"Jeanette is one of the brightest accounting students I have ever had the privilege of instructing," said Dr. John Stancil, FSC accounting professor. "We in the accounting program are pleased, but not surprised, at her accomplishment."

Dugas has been employed since 2000 with the State Attorney's Office as an economic crime investigator. She resides in Winter Haven.
