FSC music student
performs with
Lakeland's Imperial Symphony Orchestra
LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 24,
2004) - FSC junior Byron Hogan will perform with the Imperial Symphony
Orchestra (ISO) March 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Center. Hogan
will perform the first two movements of the Elgar Cello Concerto.
"A truly gifted musician, Byron is highly committed to excellence,"
said Paula Parsché, music department chair. "We are proud of his
accomplishments and know that he will represent the college beautifully
in his upcoming performance with the ISO."
The cello performance major participated in the ISO Young Artists
Auditions in January, winning the collegiate division. He is the
son of Ronnie and Peggy Hogan of Lakeland, Fla.
