Florida Southern College
announces promotion
LAKELAND, Fla. (March 1, 2004) — Florida Southern College announces the promotion of Bill C. Langston to director of admissions. Currently the assistant director of admissions, Langston begins his new position April 1.
Langston graduated from Florida Southern in 1991 with a degree in public relations and advertising. He worked for
eight years as the director of youth ministries at Bluff Park United Methodist Church, Birmingham, Ala. In 2000 he returned to FSC as director of annual funds, moving to his current position in July 2001.
“Florida Southern College has been and continues to be a very important part of my life, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve my alma mater in this capacity,” said Langston. “Florida Southern is an amazing place, and I consider it a privilege to be able to share with prospective students and their families all of the wonderful things that FSC has to offer.”
