Philharmonic Orchestra
performs
at Festival of Fine Arts
LAKELAND, Fla. (Feb. 3,
2004) - Florida Southern College and the Festival of Fine Arts welcome
The Philharmonic Orchestra of Pilsen to Branscomb Auditorium Feb.
16 at 7:30 p.m. The orchestra, with Michiko Otaki as piano soloist,
is on its first North American tour.
The Czech musicians perform an international program that extends
from a symphony by their countryman Dvorak - who died 100 years
ago this year - to a Chopin concerto with the gifted Japanese Otaki
as soloist.
Tickets are $20. FSC students are admitted free of charge; non-FSC
