FSC professor awarded
a place in
"Who's Who Among America's Teachers"
LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 19, 2003) - Florida
Southern College business and economics professor Bernice Sutton
has been included in the 8th Edition of "Who's Who Among America's
Teachers," to be published in November 2004. Nominations may come
only from students who themselves are listed in Who's Who Among
American High School Students or The National Dean's List, and students
may nominate only one teacher from their entire academic experience.
Sutton was nominated by Christin Woodard, a former FSC student.
"I thoroughly enjoy teaching at Florida Southern College," says
Sutton. "It's such an incredibly rewarding job, and to receive recognition
for having a positive influence in someone's life is quite special."
Sutton, who teaches accounting, has been with FSC since 2001. She
received both her bachelor's and MBA degrees from Florida Southern.
