Winner of "Last Comic Standing"
performs at Florida Southern

LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 8, 2004) - The Association of Campus Entertainment at Florida Southern College hosts comedian John Heffron, winner of the NBC reality series "Last Comic Standing." Heffron will perform Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium on the Florida Southern campus. 

Heffron began his comedy career as a student at Eastern Michigan University. He won a talent contract with NBC and is currently on tour, performing at comedy clubs, colleges, and theaters across the country. 

Tickets to the event are free to FSC students, faculty, and staff with FSC I.D. and are available in the cafeteria Nov. 8-12 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets for the public are $10 and are on sale beginning Nov. 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Office of Student Activities in the L.N.
