FSC basketball teams kick off
with Midnight Madness

LAKELAND, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2004) - The 2004-05 Florida Southern College basketball season begins with the second annual Midnight Madness on Nov. 9 starting at 10:30 p.m. Students, faculty, alumni and FSC basketball fans are invited to help the Mocs kick off their new season. The event is free and open to the public.

The festivities take place in the George W. Jenkins Field House, where fans will meet the men's and women's teams. Events include a half court shot, games, a slam dunk contest, and performances by the FSC Cheerleaders, Dance Team, and Rated Next Dance Team. Following Midnight Madness, the teams will hold a fundraiser in which players will be auctioned off to do small chores for the highest bidders. All proceeds will go to each basketball team's charity and will be used to assist underprivileged children. Fans are encouraged to wear the red and white team colors and bring their team spirit to support the Mocs.
