I owe my current position as an MFA acting student to the experience and training I had in FSC’s theatre studies. Without the scholarship, I would not have been able to afford college and take advantage of all that Florida Southern has to offer. The Jenkins Scholarship has been an incredible gift.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Follow these steps to get the most financial aid based on your eligibility and your financial need.

1

Net Price Calculator

Our Net Price Calculator provides a quick, early assessment of financial aid options that may be available to you. Each year we award $52+ million in annual FSC scholarships and grants — and you may qualify for federal or state aid programs, as well.

2

Apply For Admission

You will automatically be considered for one of our merit scholarships. Most scholarships are automatic for eligible students accepted to Florida Southern if academic requirements are met.

3

Apply for State Aid

Did you know that Florida residents attending a private college are eligible for a grant through the EASE program? Learn more about eligibility for Florida state aid programs.

Florida Bright Futures funds apply here, too! See your high school guidance office for more information.

4

Complete the FAFSA

Florida Southern College’s code on the FAFSA is 001488.

File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which determines your eligibility for all federal aid - including loans and need-based institutional aid. Complete the FAFSA in December of your senior year.

5

Finalize Your Aid

We invite you to schedule an appointment to review your financial aid package and payment options with your admissions counselor. We can meet with you in person or over the phone.
