Meal Plan

Residential living is a large part of the FSC experience, and communal dining is vital to our campus life. As such, all students living in campus housing (on-campus or off) must have a meal plan.

Plan Options

20 Meal Plan

Designed to provide students with 20 meals per week, each Monday, students receive eight (8) swipes valued at $76.00, which can be used to purchase any meal at Wynee's Bistro. The plan also provides 114 Snake Bites per week, which can be spent at Wynee's or any other campus food venue. Students also receive an additional $20 in flex dollars each semester. This plan is mandatory for new students and costs $2,870* per semester.

15 Meal Plan

Providing 15 meals per week, the 15-Meal Plan comes with six (6) swipes, valued at $60.00, every Monday. These swipes can be used for any meal at Wynee's Bistro. Students also receive 90 Snake Bites weekly, usable at Wynee's or other campus dining locations. The plan includes $30 in flex dollars each semester and is available for $2,300* per semester.

10-Meal plan

Ideal for those who need ten meals per week, this plan includes four (4) swipes worth $42.00, which can be used at Wynee's Bistro for any meal. Students also receive 63 Snake Bites weekly at Wynee's or other campus venues. Additionally, this plan provides $60 in flex dollars each semester. The cost of this plan is $1,750* per semester.

5-Meal plan

The 5-Meal plan provides five meals per week and is designed for commuters or students living in campus housing with full kitchens. It includes 55 weekly Snake Bites for Wynee's Bistro or other campus dining options. Students on this plan also receive $22 in flex dollars each semester. This plan is available for $900 per semester.

Meal plan swipes are strictly for the use of the purchasing student and cannot be shared; however, students may use their Snake Bites to purchase a meal for another student or guest at Wynee's, paying the door price.

Choosing a Plan

For new residential students, the 20 Meal Plan is mandatory. Returning students are automatically re-enrolled in their previous plan. They can change their plan selection by completing and returning the Meal Plan Selection form on the FSC Portal: Students Tab/Financial Info page. Students have until the Friday after courses begin to make changes.

Prorated plan values will be applied during partial school weeks, like Fall and Spring Breaks, and the last week of each semester. Plans will be adjusted to reflect the reduced school week.

Eating at Wynee's Bistro

Wynee's Bistro offers excellent value and a wide selection of meals, now with complimentary second helpings (excluding Steak Night and Special Events). Note that second helpings are not available with to-go meals. You can purchase an OZZI recyclable container for a one-time fee of 5 Snake Bites or a disposable to-go container for 1 Snake Bite. Steak n Shake and Kachin Sushi are available at menu price and can be purchased with Snake Bites à la carte.

Cash prices at Wynee’s are $12.95 for breakfast, $14.95 for lunch, and $17.95 for dinner. Students with meal plans should use their Swipes before using Snake Bites. See individual plans for Wynee's plan pricing.

Meal Plans Explained

Each meal plan includes a combination of campus food currencies—Swipes, Snake Bites, Moc Bucks, and Flex Dollars—that can be used at different dining venues across campus.

SWIPES

Swipes are exclusively used at Wynee's Bistro, the main dining hall. Students can use their FSC ID card to "swipe" for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Each swipe covers a full buffet meal at Wynee's, with one swipe allowed per meal period (one for breakfast, one for lunch, and one for dinner). It's recommended that students use their swipes first before turning to Snake Bites. Swipes cannot be used at Steak n Shake or Kachin Sushi. Swipes do not carry over from week to week; they are replenished weekly, except during breaks and at the end of the semester, when the meal plans are prorated.

Snake Bites

Snake Bites can be used to purchase food and beverages at the listed menu price from any campus venue, including Wynee's Bistro, the monthly farmers market, and the Moc Mart. One Snake Bite equals one dollar. For example, students can use Snake Bites to purchase Starbucks from Tutus, a slice of pizza from Buck Stop, or a protein bar from the Moc Mart. Snake Bites are loaded into student accounts on Monday morning and are available for use through Sunday evening. (Snake Bites do not roll over. They are replenished each week.)

Flex Dollars

In addition to Snake Bites, each plan comes with an allotment of 'Flex Dollars.' These extra dollars work as a cushion and allow students to purchase food, drinks, and other staples from campus venues should they run out of Snake Bites. Unused Flex Dollars roll over from week to week and are replenished each semester.

Moc Bucks

Students can also purchase food using Moc Bucks at any venue. Moc Bucks can also be used to purchase supplies or services at any of our campus venues, including the bookstore and laundry facilities. Students can add Moc Bucks to your FSC ID anytime through the FSC Portal or by visiting the Business Office between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note there is a convenience fee for each online deposit.
