Lottery Day: August 27, 2025
Trip Deposit and FSC Pre-Trip Information Sheet Due: September 4, 2025

Embark on an exciting island adventure to Egmont Key! Our trip will be facilitated by Hubbard's Marina, departing from Fort De Soto Park. The boat ride to Egmont Key offers fantastic opportunities for wildlife spotting, including dolphins, sea turtles, and occasionally even manatees.

Once on Egmont Key, you'll discover a variety of activities. The island is perfect for shelling and swimming. For those seeking adventure, explore Fort Dade, a large fort dating back to the Spanish-American War era, with structures spread throughout the island's interior. Egmont Key is also home to a significant population of native gopher tortoises, an endangered species. While you can't touch them, they offer excellent photo opportunities as you spot them around the island.

*Snorkeling is at the discretion of the Hubbard’s Marina boat captains and is dependent on weather and water conditions, among other factors. We will be flexible if the decision is made that snorkeling is not possible.
