Fulbright ETA (English Teaching Assistant)

Who can apply: Graduating students with some experience living in other countries.
Description: Government scholarship covering expenses and stipend for one year teaching English in a variety of foreign countries.

Fulbright Research Grant

Who can apply: Graduating seniors with interest and experience in research fields (fluency in foreign languages sometimes required).
Description: Government scholarship given to students who have developed individually designed research projects in numerous countries around the world.

Goldwater Fellowship

Who can apply: Sophomore and junior science, technology, engineering or math students with a high GPA and research experience who plan on going into research careers.
Description: A scholarship designed to assist outstanding undergraduate students in STEM fields who intend to pursue a research career. Scholarship pays up to $7500 a year in tuition and expenses.
Deadline: In early January
 

Davies-Jackson Fellowship

Who can apply: Graduating seniors interested in graduate work in classics, economics, English, geography, history, human, social and political sciences, modern and medieval languages, music, philosophy, psychological and behavioral science. Must be a first-generation college students on both sides of family.
Description: Scholarship pays for two academic years (room, board and fees) of graduate study at St. John's College, Cambridge University (UK).

Jack Kent Cooke Fellowship

Who can apply: Graduating seniors with creative or artistic potential and financial need intending on pursuing graduate school in arts.
Description: $50,000 for the pursuit of graduate school in the arts.

Description: up to $24000 for overseas study.

Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship

Description: Provides up to $5000 for eligible students to do study abroad or internships overseas.
