New to the 4+1 model? See how accelerated programs work, including eligibility and tuition savings, on the Accelerated Program Options page.

How The Program Works

Get Started Early

Currently enrolled accounting students can take advantage of two accelerated MAcc options. After earning 93 credit hours and achieving senior status, you're eligible to begin graduate coursework.

Both paths lead to the same Master of Accountancy, the same 30-hour curriculum, faculty, and CPA preparation. The difference is your timeline and how the program is billed.

Your Two Accelerated Options

4+1 MAcc

Schedule a maximum of 9 graduate credit hours in your senior year, billed at the undergraduate rate. Graduate with your bachelor's degree as scheduled, then earn your master's one year later. After you earn your bachelor's, the remaining program is billed at the graduate rate.

Early MAcc

Graduate with your bachelor's and master's on the same day. By adding an additional year of undergraduate study, you can take advantage of undergraduate aid across all five years, and the entire program is billed at the undergraduate rate.
