Since earning his Ph.D. at Boston University in 2009, Kyle taught at Wittenberg University, Colby College, and Plymouth State University before arriving at Florida Southern. He is a theoretical computer scientist who studies combinatorial game theory. When not at work, he's usually trying to convince his kids to play board games with him.
