Dr. Hope Holley is a tenured professor at Florida Southern College, where she teaches across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in the School of Education. A proud triple alumna of FSC, Dr. Holley earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees right on the very campus where she now inspires future educators.
Before entering higher education, Dr. Holley spent many years teaching in K–12 classrooms and working on large-scale educational initiatives focused on improving math instruction and supporting teacher development. Over the years, she has worn many hats—educator, trainer, curriculum developer, and conference presenter—each one shaped by her passion for helping both students and teachers succeed.
Dr. Holley specializes in quantitative methodology, and her research explores areas such as teacher retention, K–12 student assessment data, math instruction, and educational equity. She thrives on mentoring graduate and doctoral students as they develop into confident, capable researchers, and finds great fulfillment in guiding undergraduates along their journey toward becoming thoughtful, impactful world changers.
Outside the classroom, Dr. Holley enjoys playing golf (with varying degrees of success), cooking for friends and family, and spending quality time with loved ones. She is also the proud mom of three amazing children.
