I was born in Ontario, Canada and ventured to the University of Florida to earn a Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. specializing in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior. My first teaching job was as a professor at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. Little did I know, I would spend 26 years there until retiring in the summer of 2024. Fifteen days after retirement, I was officially hired on at FSC as a visiting professor in the Exercise Science Department. So much for retirement! But I am glad I am here at FSC because I can’t imagine myself being anywhere else… and not engaging in such great students and faculty! I have also been a mental performance enhancement specialist for various athletes and student-athletes for the past 30 years. Now I am sharing my specialty with the student-athletes here at FSC. Go Mocs!!!
