  • College initiates first annual business day.
  • The Rascals plays a concert at FSC.

  • Ludd M. Spivey Humanities and Fine Art Center opens during the 86th Founder’s Week.
  • WFSC radio station created.
  • The FSC Concert Choir was part of the 1,500-voice choir that sang at the opening of Disney World.
  • NCAA College Division Baseball Champions.
  • Men’s Soccer won the Florida Intercollegiate Soccer Conference.
